Prep Time: 15 minutes Cook Time: 20 minutes Total Time: 35 minutes Servings: 6

Ingredients

  • 6 large La Piedad Flour Tortillas

  • 1½ lbs. boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable or olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon chili powder

  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • ½ teaspoon paprika

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 2 cups cooked rice

  • 1 can (15 oz.) black beans, drained and rinsed

  • 1½ cups shredded Monterey Jack or Mexican-blend cheese

  • 1 cup pico de gallo

  • 1 cup shredded lettuce

  • 1 avocado, sliced or diced

  • ½ cup sour cream

  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish

  • Lime wedges, for serving

Loaded Chicken Burrito Wraps Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken into strips or bite-sized pieces. Season with chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

  2. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook for 6–8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned and completely cooked through.

  3. Warm the La Piedad Flour Tortillas until soft and flexible.

  4. Place a tortilla on a flat surface. Layer the center with rice, black beans, seasoned chicken, shredded cheese, pico de gallo, lettuce, avocado, and a spoonful of sour cream.

  5. Fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then roll tightly from the bottom to create a burrito.

  6. For a toasted finish, place the assembled burritos seam-side down in a clean skillet over medium heat. Cook for 1–2 minutes per side until lightly golden.

  7. Slice in half and serve warm with additional salsa, sour cream, fresh cilantro, and lime wedges.
